About Me

My Story

I’m a Canadian woman born & raised in Montreal, Quebec. Following the call of the Rockies, in 2017, I relocated to Calgary, Alberta for four years. I am the proud mother of three sons, Jeremy, Zachary, and Christopher.

The Universe has lead me in many different directions in terms of work. I spent the first 14 years working in the food & service industry. I was always the only woman in the kitchens! I loved the challenge of it. I started my own catering company at 22, which I ran with my business partner for 8 years. I was involved in two successful restaurant start-ups as well. When my kids were all in school, I began teaching new immigrants and I working with special needs children. Both these positions were challenging yet so rewarding. I don’t know who benefited more from the experience the students or myself! Motivating teens to find time to volunteer in their community became my next mission. The program I ran went from 16 teen volunteers to over 500!

In 2013, my life began to unravel. My Mom fell ill. Soon after my husband developed a rare autoimmune disease and he was no longer able to work. I held down 2 jobs, ran the household, and cared for everybody but myself. My marriage was falling apart. I lived in a constant stressed state. I put a smile on my face and kept on going, but I knew something was about to give. Well it did, I sustained a back injury from a work accident (not of my own doing!). I was in constant pain and unable to work, do housework, or any normal everyday task. (I needed help to put on my socks!) As the months went by, I followed Doctor’s orders yet my recovery was very slow and discouraging. I realized I was simply jumping through hoops and I couldn’t live like this.

My whole life had crumbled and it was not at all what I wanted for myself. Only I could change my circumstance. I decided to become my own advocate. I had to take charge of my life. I needed to do what felt right to me. I figured my body…my health…my life. I read constantly-gathering information, joined a pain management group, did Bible study, and began meditating.

In 2016, the answer came to me through a series of signs left for me by the Universe. It was simply purposeful guidance which I chose to follow. I enrolled to become an Integrative Wellness & Life Coach. After all I had been guiding, inspiring, and helping others for my entire life and wasn’t I pulling myself out of a very difficult place? I had the life experiences, the skills, and the mindset necessary to be an incredible life coach. I was certified in 2017. I continued my education by becoming a Master NLP practitioner and then a Clinical Hypnotherapist. I now have a new lifestyle and a new fulfilling career. Living life by being true to your authentic self is incredible!
